Bridge awards keep rolling in
The now iconic Lower Hatea River crossing continues to cause a stir on the industry award circuit almost 18 months after it was officially opened in 2013. The New Zealand bridge has been honoured as the winner of 6 prestigious award schemes over the past 12 months, with more yet to be chosen, and has been shortlisted as a finalist in several other categories. It has also received further interest and recognition globally, featuring in numerous publications and even a television advert.
