About Eadon Consulting
Since 2009 Eadon have been using their vast combined experience working as design consultants, manufacturers, and installation managers, working with both client and supplier to deliver varied, interesting projects and solve challenging engineering problems.
Eadon Vision
Right from the start the Eadon Vision was created, which has remained steadfast throughout the last decade and still holds true today:
We are an engineering business with expertise in design and analysis. Working across multiple sectors, we have a depth and breadth of knowledge enabling us to solve problems and innovate.
We develop and support successful relationships with our clients through collaboration and being honest, flexible and responsive in our approach. Our high standards and enthusiasm are valued by our clients and have earned us the reputation we are proud of.
Our work is varied and challenging, but with a friendly and supportive team it is highly rewarding. We develop as engineers and people by learning and sharing our knowledge. By being flexible we sustain a desirable work-life balance while providing excellent support to our clients.
The Eadon Management Team is made up of founding members David Price, James Hill and Michael Thorogood, along with Ian Hylands who joined the company in 2010. Their long history together started when the four engineers worked alongside each other at MG Bennett and Associates, who were taken over by a large multinational, prompting the start of the new venture and the new vision.
David’s past experience has included a role as Engineering Manager and Designer for a fabrication and machine shop based in Sheffield. His work included the design and installation of mechanised lock gates, flood gates and various static and moveable road and foot bridges. David was also responsible for overseeing the manufacture of all his projects, as well planning and managing the site installation. David brings this experience of bringing a project into reality.
James’ experience includes working in the automotive sector at the consultancy Ricardo, designing transmissions for off-highway vehicles. He also worked within the defence industry for several years, working across a number of projects. The experience in high precision manufacture and tolerancing has been shared with the wider Eadon team and is used daily on the production of our drawing output.
