Business Support Graduate

We are seeking a Business Support Graduate to play a key role in supporting the ongoing operational management and growth of an Engineering Consultancy that is highly regarded and valued by both its clients and its team.

This role will suit someone who is looking to gain business operations and administration experience across several areas in a small but quickly evolving and expanding business. This could be the role for you if any of the below resonate:

What you’ll do

This role will be varied, but we envisage your responsibilities to include: 

  • Supporting the Management and Professional Services teams with day-to-day operational tasks, business administration, projects, and initiatives. 
  • Supporting our Management Systems, underlying business processes, and associated risk management responsibilities. 
  • Collaborating with the whole Eadon Team to support them in delivering their roles, whether that be finance, ICT, project delivery or delivery of companywide business objectives. 
  • Supporting employee onboarding, welcoming newcomers to Eadon and contributing towards their set up and initial inductions. 
  • Maintaining company dashboards that summarise data for reporting to clients. 
  • And much more! This will be a very varied role with opportunity to interact with all areas of the business. 

What you’ll need

Our ideal candidate will be/have: 

  • A Business or Technical Graduate, or from other subject areas with transferable skills suitable for this role. 
  • Excellent work ethic that aligns with Eadon’s Values for its team to be Knowledgeable, Enthusiastic, Creative, Reliable, and Collaborative 
  • Numerically confident with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
  • Ability to adapt their writing style and format for different situations and audiences, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. 
  • An eye for detail. 
  • Organised, and able to effectively manage their own time. 
  • Flexibility and dynamism to work across various areas of the business. 
  • A willingness to learn.
