When things have failed or are not working as expected, they typically need resolving in a timely and cost effective manner. With our experience across a wide range of sectors, we are able to bring to bear a large knowledge-base to help resolve situations.

We have designed and commissioned all kinds of machinery and specialist structures, also being involved in ensuring they comply with all the relevant legislation such as the Machineries Directive (Safety of Machinery (CE Marking)) as well as LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations). Our extensive site experience means that we can quickly identify problems and develop solutions for them. Causes of failure can be as simple as faulty workmanship through to complicated areas such as fatigue damage due to repeated loading.

In addition to this experience, we also have a range of advanced modelling and analysis techniques available to us such as finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to help identify the potential causes of problems and how to optimally solve them.

With our design capability, we are then able to translate this information into a practical solution that can be implemented on site.

Unfortunately, in some situations, the issue results in a legal dispute between a number of parties. Eadon Consulting also have experience of writing expert witness reports as well as reviewing existing information and evidence.
