What happens when I first contact Eadon?
When you get in touch, we’ll ask for some basic details about your project, like the scope, timeline, and any key deadlines. For example, we might ask when you need a quote or when you’d like the work to start. As part of our ISO 9001 Quality System, we review every enquiry carefully to make sure we assign the right people and resources from the start. If your project needs extra specialist input, we’ll team up with our trusted partners to build the best team for you.
We understand that some projects involve commercially sensitive information. If you need extra assurance, we can set up a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before we discuss any details. Our systems are designed to keep your information safe, and we are Cyber Essentials Plus certified, meaning our IT security meets a recognised standard.
What if you can only deliver part of what we need?
If a project needs extra expertise, we work with our trusted partners. If your needs go beyond our main services or another specialist is a better fit, we’ll put together the right team or recommend a qualified expert.
How do you price your work?
We provide a clear, written quote that outlines the scope of work, our approach, what we’ll deliver, the timeline and the cost. Depending on your project, this could be a fixed price, a staged plan, or set up differently if your organisation needs it. And if you need to adjust the scope to fit your budget, we’re happy to talk it through and still aim for the best results.
How long does it take to receive a quote?
The time it takes to receive a quote depends on how complex your project is. For small or simple projects, we can usually provide a quote within 1 to 2 working days. Larger or more involved projects may take a bit longer. Before we send any quote, our senior leadership team reviews it to make sure it is clear, accurate, and offers good value.
What happens once we approve the quote?
After you give us the go-ahead, either with a purchase order or written confirmation, we’ll review the order to make sure all terms are agreed upon and the scope is clear. Once that’s done, we send you an order confirmation and get started on your project.
What is your project process?
We usually follow three main steps: Understand, Decide and Deliver.
In the Understand stage, we clarify requirements, challenge assumptions where helpful and explore early concepts or risks. The goal at this stage is to reduce uncertainty and identify potential issues as early as possible. By asking questions early, we often find ways to create a solution that best fits the client’s needs.
During the Decide stage, we handle the main technical work, such as creating designs, running analyses, building models and performing calculations. We make sure the solution is solid and practical before finishing.
In the Deliver stage, we create the agreed deliverables, such as drawings, reports, specifications, or documents, so they’re ready for use or manufacturing.
Our experience has shown us that this approach means we can identify risks early and minimise costly changes or unexpected issues further down the line.
What makes Eadon different?
At Eadon we always put our clients first and focus on finding solutions. We aim to spot risks early, identify issues quickly and deliver results you can actually use – not just polished reports. We believe in open, constructive teamwork and strive to build long-term, trusting relationships. Our goal is not just to finish the job, but to help you get the best outcome as efficiently as possible.
I’m new to working with consultants.
Not a problem – we’ll walk you through how we define the scope, how pricing works, what you can expect from us and how we’ll keep in touch. Whether you’re used to working with consultants or it’s your first time, we’ll adapt to fit your needs.
