We are delighted to welcome the newest member of our team, Tommy Moore. Tommy joins Eadon as an Engineer, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Tommy’s inspiration to become an engineer started in childhood when he enjoyed tinkering with things – taking them apart, putting them back together and experimenting to create something new.

After graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he spent four years developing his skills as an Engineering Manager at a rope access company.

“I was drawn to Eadon because of its strong reputation and the variety of projects they work on,” he said. “I’m currently involved in the Sutton Weaver bridge project where I’m working on the refurbishment and replacement of the main slew drive motors along with the drive system for the support wedge actuation. I’m also about to begin a finite element analysis job. But I’m keen to get involved in as many different projects as possible – the REACH project sounds especially interesting.”

Tommy is currently working towards his IEng accreditation and plans to pursue chartership.

Outside of work he’s a bit of a thrill seeker – and enjoys caving, climbing and paragliding!
