Despite the ongoing uncertainty about the future of large-scale nuclear generation in the UK, Eadon Consulting have recently seen its fair share of nuclear analysis projects come through its doors.

Over the summer Eadon Engineers have undertaken a number of different decommissioning and design analysis projects, using our broad knowledge of mechanical and structural engineering to provide specialist services to different companies throughout the nuclear sector.

We have worked meticulously through different stages of analysis, taking our most detailed involvement from basic hand calculations through to FEA (finite element analysis) and detailed manufacturing drawings. We have also spent time working on the seismic analysis and response spectrum analysis of FE models for an ongoing project which Eadon have now been involved with at different levels for the past few years.

Having delivered a very high quality of analysis and documentation throughout the past year, our volume of work within this area shows no signs of slowing down. With more high profile projects currently in their infancy we are looking forward to growing our expertise and reputation in this area further and will endeavour to build upon our reputation as ‘a safe pair of hands’ within the industry.
