Nuclear Decommissioning and Radioactive Waste management is a hot topic. The Nuclear Industry Association (NIA) organise Decommissioning and Radwaste Working Groups to provide a forum for discussions and to enable updates to be presented by Industry leaders. The 46th working group was held on the 10th February 2011 at the offices of Hyder Consulting in Bristol and included a number of excellent presentations, for example a presentation was given by Magnox Ltd regarding the merger or re-integration of Magnox North and Magnox South and what this will mean for its supply chain.
