Alex has recently joined us in the role of Designer. With a background in designing bespoke solutions for the construction industry, and then as a draughtsman working alongside architects and structural engineers, Alex will be working on the design of bespoke solutions at Eadon. His main focus will be product design engineering – he particularly enjoys thinking laterally about how to solve a problem using an innovative approach. Particularly key to this role will be ensuring manufacturability of the product.  

Alex says that he was keen to join the team at Eadon because of the wide range of industries that we work with and the variety of projects that our engineers get involved in. The opportunity to work alongside a team who are known as experts in their fields was also an incentive, as this inevitably provides the opportunity to learn and develop.  

Because Alex’s main focus in his career to date has been design and manufacturability, he would like to develop his calcs and analysis experience, and to learn about some of the industries he hasn’t been involved in before, such as nuclear and marine engineering. 

Alex is already involved in the Capsa product, our hazardous waste management solution, tasked with rescaling and redeveloping the product for the next iteration. In his spare time Alex enjoys indie music, playing the guitar and cooking.
