Eadon Consulting is pleased to welcome Andy Fowler to the team.

Andy studied Aerospace Engineering at the University of Sheffield. Following his degree he began his career at Atkins where he worked for 12 years – primarily in the nuclear sector designing mechanical handling equipment and processes for the retrieval and packaging of radioactive material. Recently he worked on a project for Magnox Chapelcross power station designing new packages for storing their waste into the interim storage facility. “That was an interesting one because we worked on it from concept, through to design and actually supporting it through to manufacture as well,” he said.

Andy is looking forward to working in a smaller team at Eadon where there is more of a community type culture. “I’m excited to get back into design work and to broaden my experience into other sectors,” he said. “It’ll be great to work with new people too. There’s a lot of experience at Eadon and that’s something I’m keen to expose myself to in order to learn and progress.”
