James joins us as an engineer who will be working on a wide variety of projects.

Whilst completing a mechanical engineering degree at Heriot Watt University, James was involved in a variety of interesting projects, ranging from CFD analysis of cascading aerofoils to designing a hot water solar array system for colder climates.

During his degree and as part of a placement year, James worked for a company in Liverpool that converts police cars for multiple regional forces from across the UK. As a graduate technician, James’ role included a range of responsibilities; most notably, the wiring and programming of the control units for the Peugeot 308 beat car.

Since graduating, James has worked as a design engineer in the lifting and trailer sectors. Most recently, he brings experience from Montracon Ltd where he worked on the design and detailed manufacturing drawings of a range of different trailer products.

James is excited to continue working on his professional development with Eadon Consulting and looks forward to gaining further knowledge and experience in finite element analysis and Solidworks.
