Leamouth Footbridge enters final stages of commissioning

Following the completion of the construction work, the new foot bridge which crosses the Leamouth Peninsular in central London is entering its final stages of commissioning. The 82m long steel structure, which lifts to allow tall marine vessels to pass to and from the River Thames, is now open to pedestrians. The bridge provides a connecting route between the peninsula and Canning Town centre and is also adjacent to vital travel links including a DLR station.
Eadon worked on the design of the operating equipment and mechanisms associated with the bridge movement. To learn more please click here.
