Eadon consulting has this week started work on a new metrology tower design. Working in conjunction with Lindhurst Engineering, Eadon have started developing the concept design of the tower, and will continue through to detailed design and manufacturing drawings.

Following manufacture the tower will be shipped and assembled in Dehradun, India where it will house an interferometer used for optical testing of telescope mirrors.   The tower will be designed using the Indian structural steelwork code and is additionally required to meet Indian seismic code requirements.
