New Year Sees Further Expansion for Eadon
William Birdsall joins Eadon from Babcock International Group, where he was a Mechanical Engineer within its nuclear division. Prior to this Will worked for The Engineering Business Ltd, where he was involved in the design of offshore handling systems.
Will studied mechanical engineering at Loughborough University, and throughout his career has been involved with the design of equipment for remote intervention and remote handling operations.
Whilst at Babcock Will was a Lead Engineer, responsible for the design and supply of remotely operated equipment for inspecting nuclear reactor channel bores for the advanced gas-cooled reactor (AGR) fleet. Will was also the Lead Engineer on a design study for dismantling the magnox nuclear reactor at Tokai Nuclear Power Station in Japan. Other major projects Will has worked on include the concept design of nuclear fuel handling machines and remote intervention machines.
