Last week James Hill attended the NIA’s Nuclear New Build Business Group meeting hosted by NAMRC.  This was an opportunity to be updated on current progress within the new build sector as well as to find out more about the Nuclear Sector Deal. 

A range of presentations showed the current rate of progress being made with Hinkley Point C’s construction, the plans and opportunities going forwards at Wylfa Newydd as well as what the future might hold for Advanced Nuclear Reactors.  James commented “it’s an exciting time within the nuclear sector, the new Sector Deal gives the industry a clear vision to strive for as well as there being a number of growing opportunities for SME’s within new build.”
