Eadon’s engineers have reached a major project milestone this summer with the completion of the concept design stage of an ongoing nuclear handling design project.

Now into the detailed design phase, our engineers, working closely with our clients, are developing the initial concept design and substantiation calculations into detailed 3D CAD models and drawings.

The complexity of the bespoke project means that there are many challenging aspects, and as well as working with the functional design, team members have also been responsible for the safety and seismic analysis of the project.

The project is due to be fully completed in early 2017. Further updates to follow.
