The widely anticipated Queensferry Crossing is due to open later this year. The stunning, globally unique bridge forms the centrepiece of a major upgrade to the important cross-Forth transport corridor in the east of Scotland.

Eadon Consulting have been involved with the iconic project since 2014 and have assisted with the design of the access gantries and completed Cat 3 checks.  Last week Eadon Director Dave Price and Engineer Andy Bilsborrow visited the site to complete a 6 monthly inspection looking at the assembly and condition of the bridges gantries.

Once completed the 1.7 miles structure will be the longest three-tower, cable-stayed bridge in the world and also by far the largest to feature cables which cross mid-span.
