The new Riverdale swing bridge in Northwich is nearing completion; the mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems are installed and have been commissioned ready for hand over to the client once the rest of the works are complete.

Eadon carried out the detailed design of the counterweight lifting mechanism, tail wheels and horizontal pivots for this unusual footbridge.
