We completed the detailed structural design calculations and full fabrication drawings for the Garage Type ROV tether management system. This all stainless steel garage is used to deploy Forum Energy Technologies XLX Work Class ROV and is required to operate in severe offshore conditions. The garage underwent successful acceptance and integration testing both in the factory and offshore during sea trials. It is now in operation, withstanding the harsh marine environment it was designed for.

The project involved the detailed structural design and fabrication drawings of a bespoke portal frame structure used to mount their telescopic LARS (Launch and Recovery System) for use on offshore lifting operations.
Eadon Consulting were approached by Autonomous Robotics to assist with the concept design of an offshore deployment and recovery system for their new ‘flying nodes’. The garage would have to have the capability to hold and deploy up to 72 nodes at a rate of 1 every 75 seconds.
Eadon Consulting carried out the design work for a DirectPipe® crossing under a SSSI beach in northeast Scotland. Stockton Drilling carried out the crossing, which consisted of two parallel cable ducts to carry export cables from the Beatrice offshore wind farm in the Morray Firth, 50km to the north.
The Galway directional drill crossing was needed to carry a power cable under the river Corrib. We carried out the design whilst working with Stockton Drilling. The project involved a 390m long HDPE pipe bundle being installed.
Following the completion of a number of offshore and marine projects, we were approached by Grahams Construction to carry out the detailed design for 3 restraint booms that would make up part of a floating pontoon system in Grimsby. Several other...
Seadrift Precision Engineering supply and support a wide range Offshore and Sub sea equipment. One of their main products are ROV deployment systems mounted on board ship decks. These are hydraulically operated, extending boom A frames that are able to lift the ROV directly from an integral skid base into the water.
