Offshore
We have designed offshore equipment across a wide range of applications including ROV garages, A-frames and gantry structures. Our knowledge and expertise enable us to combine hydraulic and mechanical systems into integrated solutions. We are able to offer support at all levels of a project from concept and feasibility studies through to detailed manufacturing drawings. Our knowledge and experience of the offshore sector and others means that the solutions that we deliver are safe, reliable and cost effective.

Our staff have a broad base of experience with a number of offshore projects and have produced design calculations, finite element analyses through to fabrication drawings. Our expertise in areas such as stainless steel fabrication, fatigue loading, machinery safety and hydraulic and electrical integration also allows us to assist and collaborate with clients on offshore wind projects and tidal and wave energy devices in the renewables sector.
We have worked with a number of different design standards including Lloyd’s Register – Code for Lifting Appliances in a Marine Environment (CLAME) and DNV Standard No. 2.22 Lifting Appliances. This experience, combined with our knowledge of LOLER (The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998), PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998) and Machineries Directive (CE Marking), puts us in a unique position to consider the entire life cycle of the equipment as well as the safety of its users throughout the design process.
